Rhodas Final Conference: Industrial Policy 5.0

RHODaS Final Conference 2026

Project Results
System Demonstrations and Joint SCAPE Workshop in Barcelona

The RHODaS Final Conference marks the conclusion of the Horizon Europe project Reinventing High-performance pOwer converters for heavy-Duty electric transport. The event will present the project’s final technical results, system demonstrations, and key research outcomes developed over the project’s lifetime, with a strong focus on their impact on future heavy-duty electric vehicle powertrains.

Over two days, the conference will bring together researchers, industry representatives, policymakers, and stakeholders from across the European e-mobility ecosystem. The programme combines technical presentations, live demonstrations, and expert discussions, offering a comprehensive overview of RHODaS innovations in power electronics, integrated motor drives, thermal management, digital tools, and circularity.

Day 1 – Final Conference (28 January 2026)

The first day focuses on RHODaS project results and impact. It includes presentations from all technical work packages, a live demonstration of the Integrated Motor Drive (IMD) and power converter prototypes, and an interactive discussion with the project’s Industrial Advisory Board and external stakeholders.

Day 2 – Joint Workshop with SCAPE (29 January 2026)

The second day is a joint dissemination workshop organised together with the SCAPE Project. This session places RHODaS results in a broader European context, fostering cross-project exchange and discussion on shared technical challenges and future research directions in electric mobility. The workshop concludes with a joint discussion involving project partners, advisory board members, and invited stakeholders.

The conference will be held in person at UPC in Barcelona and streamed online to ensure wide accessibility. Participation is open to researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and anyone interested in advanced electric powertrain technologies and sustainable mobility.
